ABOUT US

General Chimica was established in 1965 by Michele Grillo, who still runs the company with his family.

Over the last ten years the company has been implementing a broad internationalisation strategy, that has led to very high export quotas, reaching up to 85% of its revenues. It has unrivalled experience in preparation of products such as insecticides. The company also invests 10% of its profits in research projects carried out in cooperation with several Italian universities.

We are specialised in producing pyrethrum-based organic insecticides. We manage plantation, extraction, refining and distribution of technical grade material as well as finished products in over 30 countries worldwide. Moreover, our expertise in regulatory affairs allows us to develop new preparations upon customers’ request.
